ARTIST SESSION FAQ'S

What is considered an 'irregular' artwork?

Irregular artworks are pieces that don’t have straight edges or standard shapes. Examples include circular works, paintings on uniquely shaped wood, or mixed media pieces that extend beyond the canvas. These require extra care and attention when photographing to capture them accurately.

What is the Topaz enlarging service?

Topaz enlarging allows us to recreate images of your artwork at their true size. For example, a 24"x36" artwork photo can’t be printed at full size without losing detail. With Topaz, we can scale the image so it prints clearly at the original dimensions.

Can I sit in on the session?

Absolutely! Sessions with less than 5 pieces take no more than an hour, so you are welcome to join us in the studio or wait in your car.

Will you travel to my studio to photograph works?

With any necessary travel fees, we may be able to travel to your studio to photograph your work. This is dependent on if your studio can accommodate our light and camera set up.

Do you offer pick up/drop off services?

Yes! Pick up and drop off services start at $50. The fee is determined by number of pieces and any necessary travel fees. Artists are responsible for providing proper protection of artworks for the travel. We do not assemble pieces, so if your artwork requires assembly, we ask that you either travel to us or we come to you.
